Phantom Beard Co. targets discerning men aged 25-45 who invest in personal grooming and appreciate quality products. The brand’s mission, "Defy Expectations," guided our design process, inspiring us to create packaging that stands out on the shelf and appeals to the brand’s target audience.

Design Exploration

We explored various packaging styles and elements to capture the essence of Phantom Beard Co. Our focus was on minimalistic, clean designs that convey sophistication and quality. We incorporated sensory elements like lamination and spot varnish to enhance the luxurious feel of the packaging.

Logo and Graphic Elements

Logo Design

The primary logo for Phantom Beard Co. features bold typography and sleek lines, reflecting the brand’s modern and masculine appeal. The logo is designed to be easily recognizable and versatile across various applications.

Colour Palette

We selected a colour palette that includes deep, rich hues like Burnt Amber, Smoky Sky, and Roasted Cinnamon, accented with Coal Black. These colours evoke a sense of luxury and professionalism, aligning perfectly with the brand’s identity.

Graphic Elements and Patterns

Incorporating clean lines and flat graphics, the design includes a pattern made up of different styles of beards. These elements add a unique touch to the packaging, making it instantly recognizable and memorable.

Tuck Box

Our final design choice was a tuck box, providing a sleek and sophisticated packaging solution. This packaging style offers durability and protection, ensuring the product arrives in perfect condition.

Material and Finishing

We used Solid Bleached Sulfate (SBS C1S) for its durability and high-quality printing capabilities. The packaging features matte lamination and spot UV varnish, giving it a tactile and luxurious feel. The choice of pigment ink ensures long-lasting print quality, resistant to scratches, water, and UV rays.
